What Effective Micro-Organisms are.
Effective micro-organisms are a group of more than 80 types of useful micro-organisms. They are combinations of yeasts, malts, lactobacilli, photosynthetic bacteria, filamentous bacteria, and related forms.
EM products have been used on ecological projects worldwide since the 1980s. The formula is natural. It is not a threat to people, pets, or the environment, which is why we use it in place of harsher finishing steps.
Natural insect deterrent
The EM formula helps keep insects and larvae away from clothes that have been through the process.
Kinder to sensitive skin
Customers who react to traditionally dry-cleaned clothes can often wear pieces again, because the bacteria tied to those reactions are not left in the fabric.
Less static
The detergent is non-ionic, so garments cling less and pick up less lint.
Color and shape
Stains lift more thoroughly. Oxidation and yellowing are less likely. Clothes stay softer and hold their shape longer.
Easier pressing
A cleaner fiber presses with a better hand, which is why shirts and suits look finished instead of coated.
